The longer of these rivers, Dra, Dadès and Ziz, slowly reveal orchards, palm trees, fields and gardens of roses...
This long fertile strand is the work of man.
The molded ksars come one after another with their beautifully ochre earthly material-crafted architecture. The rocky ridge of Djebel Kissane forms a natural fortification all along the path.
This will take you to Zagora, the kingdom of wind and sand, which will lead you to the desert ports.
The region of Dadès is amazing: the valley has 1,000 kasbahs and the Tadgha Gorges.
The valley of Ziz will bring you into the desert via the Merzougor dunes. You will be facing the sea of sand with changing colors and vague patterns such as arabesques.
